    Quick note:
    Every human being is, of course, entitled to the rights of Free Speech and Freedom of Religion. When children and teenagers are home schooled, however, they are oftentimes simply expected to conform to their parents' belief system and are therefore denied the chance to choose a system of belief for themselves.

    That is the only reason I believe that homeschooling should remain illegal in Germany. Children are not the property of their parents. I believe every child/ teenager has the basic right to "hear both sides" before making any decisions about their personal beliefs. :-)

    It is a tough issue, though.
